The Husqvarna RunChimanimani TT (Transfrontier Traverse) is a form of ultra-trail stage racing where competitors must run in pairs to complete a 60km course over 3 consecutive days as they traverse the majestic Chimanimani Transfrontier Conservation Area.
Each days time is accumulated with the overall winning team having the shortest time over the 3 day race.
The races are divided into 3 categories, Mens Pairs, Ladies Pairs and Mixed Pairs. The pairs will have to check in at checkpoints and cross the Start / Finish line together, as a team.
There is also a solo category for both men and women.
The Husqvarna RunChimanimani TT is a unique trail running experience.
Covering a total of ~60 kilometres over three days, the Husqvarna RunChimanimani TT embraces trail running's pioneering and adventurous spirit as athletes explore a wide range of the Chimanimani mountains.
In addition, friends and family can select any 1 day to run as a fun run along with the teams. Making it a whole family experience during the holidays.
Ensconced just below the Chimanimani Mountains, the charming and well equipped property of Outward Bound Zimbabwe will provide the central race hub for the weekends event.
